My staked SUI was sent out of my wallet after it was unstaked from the validator that is specifically in the SUI wallet. The wallet is only a week old and I have not connected it to anything other than the validator OKXEarn that’s in the wallet itself. This is serious issue if yall are allowing scamming through the actual app.
Wallet address: 0xae6196ce7ca9790035b5efdfdda86d806f58802d86546ec47b665bf380bc5c20
The address that my SUI randomly got stolen to:
0x36ef1885ec8e41707845e037763ccdea07f83d30b03c8ca8a76586bdd5aa9161
Sorry for your loss. Technically, no validator can steal your staked SUI.
Since the hacker unstaked your SUI, here are some of the ways hackers can access your wallet:
- Your device has viruses or keylogger
- Someone can access your device while you don’t aware
- You mistakenly exposed your seedphrases/private key somewhere on internet
etc…
There is no way those answers can be the reason, I have used Metamask and Phantom for years now. My computer does not visit anything malicious nor am I not careful on what I connect too. Seems that I had an interest in buying SUI for the long term but in stead messed around and found out. Glad it was sooner than later with a small amount.
