Wallet address change discussion

Would like to discuss the changes to the address length.
Why was this done?
What, if anything, do users need to do in regards to this change?

SuiAddress is now calculated as the first 32 bytes of the Blake2b hash of flag || pubkey instead of the SHA3_256 hash. (#9262)

Moving to BLAKE2b has various advantages that will be highlighted in an upcoming blog post.

Users do not need to do anything except be aware that your address has changed. The official Sui Wallet already supports these changes. Ecosystem wallets should be updating to conform to these changes as quickly as possible.

Test net wave 3 is working now. Feels much faster than previous ones! Remember to give your new address out to projects that might have your old one.

We don’t have to do anything. You just need to be aware of it.
