My questions:
- For a tx to be included, it always need 2/3 nodes (assume equal stake) to process the same tx. As the number of nodes increases, collecting 2/3 signatures becomes more time-consuming. Sui Gateway services might be an easy solution but that leads to the centralization problem. So does it imply, in practice, there exists a maximum allowed authorities number to maintain good system performance?
- Do authorities need to prune old data in their persistent stores? It might be too expensive to store everything. How to mitigate that? My immediate thought is layered storage but Iād like to hear other thoughts.
