Issue Accessing SUI Tokens via Address Created in the Aptos Network

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue where SUI tokens are displayed on SuiScan under the address: 0xd2593fe7807a8bfd7c3720dda25b1255626bce6acc33d24d552123c091a10378, but this address was originally created in the Aptos network using my seed phrase. I attempted to access the tokens via Sui Wallet, but when I import the seed phrase or private key, a different address is generated, and I am unable to access the tokens on the correct address.

Could you please assist me in recovering access to these tokens or transferring them to the correct address in the Sui network? Below are the account details and transaction information:

  • Address: 0xd2593fe7807a8bfd7c3720dda25b1255626bce6acc33d24d552123c091a10378
  • The tokens are visible in Sui Explorer, but I am unable to access them via my wallet.

Thank you for your assistance!

Hi!
If your address was originally created on the Aptos network, you can only access your 0xd2593fe7807a8bfd7c3720dda25b1255626bce6acc33d24d552123c091a10378 account in the originating network, which is Aptos. Aptos and Sui use different derivation paths, leading to different addresses even from the same seed phrase

How did those SUI tokens end up in that address?

Hello Pompei! Did you manage to find out the way how to solve the issue?

Accidentally sent Sui to Aptos address and now cant bridge it back (((

Thanks

Dear Alina!
You are my last chance…is this a way to get back Sui from Aptos wallet?
apt wallet: 0x86de940e6b97e414bbf61c5f7c6d0b4a5bdc4269094d5dad9ed6c38628df63e5
The tokens are visible in Sui Explorer,
was thinking about wormhole bridge?
Please help! thank you

It is not possible, Sui and Aptos are different networks.
