The Sui Foundation’s request for proposals welcomes applications from any individual, team, organization, or entity passionate about contributing to the Sui ecosystem.

Are all RFPs developer based?

While the majority of the RFPs seek developers to build a product or tool, there is a possibility for RFPs that do not require coding, which we invite everyone to apply for.

How many proposals are accepted?

In most cases, the Sui Foundation accepts one proposal per request. However, there may be circumstances where multiple proposals are accepted.

Where can I apply?

The current list of open RFPs is here.

What if there are no RFPs available?

This likely means that the Sui Foundation is reviewing previous RFP submissions for decision and working on publishing new applications and tools. Please check back regularly as RFPs are launched on a rolling basis.

How long will it take to receive an answer from the Sui Foundation?

Typically, it takes approximately four weeks from the close date of the RFP, with an additional two weeks to complete the compliance process for the chosen proposal candidates. Timing varies depending on the number of proposals received.

How are proposals evaluated and accepted?

Evaluation criteria include factors such as technical feasibility, innovation, relevance to the RFP’s objectives, potential impact on the Sui community, and the applicant’s track record or experience.

Who decides on the winning proposal?

After review, the shortlisted proposals undergo discussion and final voting by an RFP committee to determine the candidate with the highest potential to address the RFP’s requirements and contribute positively to the Sui ecosystem.

Will I be notified if the proposal I submitted is not chosen?

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their proposal.

Is there financial support for the chosen proposal?

Yes, the final agreement includes funding and a budget for the winning applicant.

Can I collaborate with others on a proposal?

Yes, if you are an individual and you believe the scope of work requires a team, we encourage you to partner with other Sui ecosystem participants.

What happens if my proposal is not selected?

Keep your head up! There are many opportunities to get involved in the Sui ecosystem, like participating in hackathons, learning courses, workshops, events, and future RFPs.
