My apologies if this isn’t the right place to ask this. I’ve posted this question on another website only to hear crickets. I want to know if using the SUI cli, I can “create a wallet”.
So if I use the command sui client new-address then that will create a new address and key-pair.
Can I then login to an exchange where I buy SUI and send SUI to that new address I generated?
I am not interested in browser extensions or staking. I just want to hold SUI in desktop wallet but I haven’t found that there are any. From reading around, it seems there are a lot of spam and scam attack vectors when using a browser extension based wallet, even if I trust the implementation of the extension wallets, it makes me nervous that I can theoretically click on a bad link or something.
