When I created ledger SUI Wallet and never was given recovery phrase. I can still access the wallet. Is there any way to get that phrase? Also, where do I get my private keys?
I don’t have the answer to your question, however while we wait for another user to stop by to assist you, I’d like to give you a heads up that if any users try to lure you to another website or ask you to contact them on Telegram, they are scammers. Do not allow anyone to lure you off site, and do not give up your private keys to anyone requesting them.
Shouldn’t an engineer be here to help with this technical issues? They should be the best person to ask since they are the one who built the app
Hi.
Pls I am also having a similar issue. I actually have m seed phrase but I’m getting an invalid response after entering the 12 private keys.
I am very sure I wrote down the correct phrase.
Hi there, just need to recover the wallet with your Ledger 24-phrases and reconnect to the Sui wallet, more info in the Ledger guide (I can’t attach here, you can google it)
From Ledger blog: Since we’re using a Ledger device, there’s no need to back up the recovery phrase provided by the Sui wallet. Check the box next to I saved my recovery phrase and then click on Open Sui Wallet.
Is that because the keys are generated from the ledgers internal key?
Recovery is possible without any info as long as it’s the same ledger (more specifically ledger recovery seed)
