# Something I keep seeing in Sui Move audits that deserves more attention

Something I keep seeing in Sui Move audits that  
deserves more attention:

\<\< and \>\> don’t abort on overflow. Everything else  
in Move does — addition, subtraction, multiplication  
all halt the transaction if they overflow. Shifts  
just quietly drop the bits and move on.

It’s the kind of thing that compiles clean, passes  
tests, and sits there until someone finds it with  
real money on the line.
