The Scala3 lab, founded by former Coinbase engineers, attracted initial funding of $5.3 million. Scala3 Labs creates an infrastructure for blockchain node operators to help them manage their networks smoothly.
Scale 3 Labs came out of hiding today along with a fundraising announcement. The round was led by Redpoint Ventures with the participation of Mysten Labs and Howard University.
Scale3 is an infrastructure startup specifically focused on servicing operators of blockchain nodes. Its founders Ola Muse and Kartik Kalyanaraman left Coinbase in August and managed to collect and close the seed round within two months.
